Dear Lord Jesus,

Forgive how we allow the evil one to divide Your church.

Forgive how we allow the evil one to divide Your children.

Forgive how we deny Your love, preferring self-gratification, arrogance, and judgment.

Forgive how we deny Your mercy, preferring separation, addiction, and hate.

Forgive our preference for darkness, lies, and hate.

I pray that hearts be softened, eyes opened, ears that hear, pride removed, indifference for You cast aside.

I pray that love unites Your church and all its members with the true peace found in You.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
