“In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”

Luke 1:26-28

Dear Father God,

Thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your Only Son to redeem all who call on His name.

Thank You for choosing Your created and blessed perfect example of humility and purity, a fully loving heart, full of grace, Jesus.

Thank You for the perfect Tabernacle, for the birth of the perfect sacrifice, for such an unworthy world. Thank You for washing us with the blood of Jesus. Thank You for His perfect mother.

Thank You, Father God, for such a beautiful story of history and for delivering us Jesus, Emmanuel, as our ultimate gift, amen.
